Dr. Amy Agoglia has been with Doctors’ Pediatric since 1995. She completed her undergraduate education at SUNY Stony Brook and received her medical degree from SUNY Syracuse Upstate Medical Center. Dr. Agoglia then went on to complete a pediatric residency at North Shore University Hospital on Long Island. Dr. Agoglia is a member of the medical staff at both Norwalk and Danbury Hospitals, and she is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Agoglia enjoys treating children of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling with her husband and two children.
Dr. Lourdes Maisonet joined the practice in June 2020. After completing her undergraduate studies at Fordham University, she received her medical degree from UMDNJ/ New Jersey Medical School. She specialized in General Pediatrics during her residency at UMDNJ/Pediatric Residency Program and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Maisonet is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore where she cares for patients in the pediatric emergency department. She enjoys treating children of all ages and interacting with their families. She is fluent in Spanish. While at home, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and family.
Dr. Surekha Shenoy joined the Doctors’ Pediatric family in 2022. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a Board-Certified Pediatrician. After completing her Pediatrics Residency at St Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in New Jersey, she worked at Darien Pediatrics from 2008-2020. Her interest in a child’s overall well-being has led her to complete a certification in Child and Adolescent mental health with the REACH Institute in NYC in 2019. She is dedicated to supporting her patients physically, mentally, and emotionally as they progress through various stages of life – from their newborn days to adulthood. She is a strong advocate for breastfeeding.
Dr. Shenoy also believes that promoting positive mental health and looking at mental health thru a public health lens is critical in young children and teens. Her interests include anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Her goal is to work together with her patients to help keep them healthy and thriving.
Dr. Shenoy speaks two Indian languages. Konkani and Kannada. At home, she loves to play the violin and is passionate about public speaking on issues concerning the pediatric and adolescent populations.
Dr. Katz will be joining the Doctors’ Pediatric family in April 2023. He grew up in Vero Beach, FL, and attended the University of Miami for his undergraduate degree. He attended St. George’s University in Grenada for medical school, completing his clinicals in Miami. Dr. Katz trained for residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and is board-certified in pediatrics and a member of the AAP.
Dr. Katz loves working with kids of all ages and has a strong interest in helping with mental health. He is excited to move to the Connecticut area with his wife, dog, and cat. His interests include ice hockey, snowboarding, traveling, and eating good food with his wife.
